Program Activities:
Workshops once a week (day and evening hours) include:
- Skills Assessment
- Work Place Ethics "Knowing your Rights"
- Communication 101
- Stress Management & Conflict Resolution
- Computer Training: Microsoft Office
- Creating, Editing and Enhancing your Profile
- Mastering your Interview Skills
Also included in the program is a volunteer placement component once a week at great companies. Past and present placement sponsors/locations include:
- The after school programs of Boys & Girls Club of East Scarborough
- Ontario Early Years Centre
- Old Navy
- At Eaze
- Rogers Sportsnet
