AFTER SCHOOL (11-14 YRS OLD)

The 11-14 After School Program offers a variety of activities for your child to take part in. We offer fun filled activities such as art and design, computers, gym activities, games room, group games, cooking and specialties.

Program Activities

  • Teen Lounge - The following areas are available in this room: home work area, games shelf, art and design, reading area, video games and music area.
  • Movie Lounge - Group games, art and design, reading, movies on the large screen, homework.
  • Games Room – The youth have access to a pool table, ping pong table, table soccer, group games, board games or dance.
  • Computer Room - The staff will show the youth how to use the computers to their advantage by showing them how to surf the web for research, for school projects, information, entertainment and fun appropriate sites.
  • Kitchen - Each week the youth are involved in a cooking activity in which they prepare a snack for their group.
  • Gym Activities - The youth are involved in a variety of activities in the gym and in the back field. They take part in group games such as basketball, floor hockey and soccer. Free time is given so the youth can develop their skills.
  • Specialty Programs - These instructional programs are offered to the youth. They cover such areas as music, dance, science or fitness
  • Snacks - A nutritious snack is offered to the youth daily. Special items are offered on particular occasions.

The following programs are not included in the After School Program fees and require separate registration in order to have your youth attend. Information on each of these programs will be given out to youth in the After School programs.

  • P.A. Day Programs: These programs are scheduled on both Public and Catholic P.A. Days. Parents will be notified with a flyer a few days before a P.A. Day. In the event that a trip or special event is scheduled, a charge for these events may be required.
  • Christmas Program: This program is open during the Christmas Break from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Extended hours may be available. The program includes fun activities such as arts and design, computers, games, trips and more.
  • March Break Program: This program is available during the March Break during the hours of 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Extended hours may be available . This program includes art and design, computers, games, trips and special events.
  • Day Camp: The Day Camp operates from July - August. Registration is held in early May.
