The Youth Mobilizer Employment Resource and Recreational Centre consists of a truck and a trailer that is powered by a generator. The trailer can accommodate between ten-twelve persons comfortably. The trailer has a dual purpose where it operates as an employment resource office and a recreational centre for at risk youth.

I. The employment office is equipped with laptop computers, writing supplies, tables and desk, employment resource information and is manned by a staff of four.

II. The recreational component of the mobilizer is equipped with skateboard ramps and skateboards, basketball, volleyball and street hockey equipment, and video and board games.

The objective of the Mobilizer program is twofold:

I. To provide employment services through information and referrals, workshops and one to one assistance as well as coaching job search skills on the internet and resume preparation

II. To provide recreational activities to hard to serve youth within East Scarborough

Hours of Operation:
Six days per week - Mondays to Saturdays from 2pm - 8pm
