This is Emmanuella Oladipo and Alyssa Orrett. We are two girls that are a part of BOLD Jr and this week we are writing the blog post for girls group!
On November 19th, we learned new ideas on what it means to be patient. Before this time most of us had very little patience. For example, we would get annoyed easily with the littlest things and when something seemed hard, we would just give up. Something we did in girls group was an activity that challenged our patience. We made fall/winter scarfs by arm knitting. It was our first time doing it so it seemed pretty hard for some to do but in order to finish we had to take our time and have patience. Doing this activity taught us to build our patience and that with patience and perseverance we can accomplish things and have a great finished product. In the end we all finished our scarfs and they turned out great.
Here are some of the BOLD Jr girls rocking their new handmade fall/winter scarfs!
