Man I was doing so well for a few weeks on staying true to my commitment of trying to blog once a week. Alas time caught up, work caught up, and life caught up. And before I knew it almost if not 2 months have passed by crazy fast! I don’t really have much to blog about today, sick at home with the seasonal flu that is going around. So here are just some of my favourite get well practices.
first – I live and die by David’s Tea “Cold 911″ This stuff has unicorn powers. Definatley a most so check it out
Lots of sleep, and knowing your limits. When your sick your sick, don’t push yourself to get to work, or school or too social commitments if your sick. One your going to get a lot of others sick in the process, and secondly you can do a lot more damage to yourself. Trust me. I learned this after I kept pushing myself then BAM! two weeks later I was out of work for a month when I caught pneumonia! Which is NOOOOOT fun at all! So Listen to your body if you need the day go through the proper channels and make it happen.
Lots of liquids. Soup and water and teas. Enough said…..infact I’m craving some soup right now!!
Watching your favourite TV shows and movies, and turning off those pesky cell phones and social media outlets! I just had to take my sim card out and have my friend hide it so I wouldn’t be tempted to log back into that world :S that’s just how crazy I can sometimes be when it comes to that world ha ha !
Anyways this is all I have to blog about today hopefully I will have something more interesting to report back on next week!
