This is part two to my back to school fashion looks!
As promised I’m going to cover some fun ways to dress up and work with school uniforms!
PLEASE AS MENTIONED IN THE PREVIOUS BLOG SPOT. LOOK UP YOUR SCHOOLS POLICIES ON UNIFORMS USUALLY FOUND IN YOUR AGENDA AND STICK WITHIN THE GUIDELINES. It isn’t worth the hassle to bail on the rules!
Back too school for some of your just means heading back into the uniform life. I hear ya, starting in grade 7 right up until I was in grade 12 I was in a school designed uniform. So I thought it would be fun to talk about ways to still show some creativity in style, while still keeping your school uniform in tac and in guidelines!
In each section I’m going to link you to some of my favourite YouTubers and Bloggers who often do step by step tutorials on this kind of stuff!
Let’s start with talking fun hair styles for the fall!
This is Dulce Candy she is a vetern to YouTube, and has made a super sick career through her love of makeup, hair and fashion!
In this video she gives an amazing tutorial on the Milkmaid Braid with the flower head pieces…..which is my favourite look of 2013!
Next is one of my all time favourite gals LAUREN CONRAD! or for those of us who grew up watching her LC. She always has great style ideas and tons of tutorials! She currently has two books out that I own and love and use all the time; beauty and style both written by her!
The look she is teaching you on her channel is the fishtail braid
Next is Ariana Grande’s half up half down hair style. This has BLOWN UP EVERYHERE! I’ve never watched this girl on Youtube but she gives a great tutorial as well!
One of my favourite styles of all time to wear around the town is what known as the retro pin up girl, or rock-a-billy style. This girl gives AMAZING tutorials on all things retro and how to pull of these looks really effortlessly
Lastly is a favorite of a lot of girls including many of my friends. Simply because there is many ways to pull this off and it does no damage to hair. SURF WAVES!
There is tons of products out there to help achieve this look. My simplest way.
– Take a shower
-Let hair towel dry until it is only just damp
-Spray in some sort of sea salt infused spray (My personal favourite is Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray which can be found at Sephora for a pretty penny however got2B has a similar formula for half the price!)
-French braid it up
-Sleep on it
-Next day take out the braid and your good to go! Throw on some hairspray if your hair tends too loose style fast!
Next is makeup. No I always live by the personal philosophy of less is more. On a day to day basis try and not wear more than some face cream and sun screen!
However if you have a fun event you would like to dress up for, check out the following blogs, and YouTubers for great tips!
