I want the pictures to do a lot of the talking here on this post today. Partially because the youth just did a phenomenal job, and also because no words can truly describe the energy in the room that day.
I was I have to admit, a little hesitant I have to say about how the youth may react to today’s outing. Art has been one of the things that at our club was picked up by those who had a natural passion for it, and dropped by others who didn’t. Since our groups for RRTG dosen’t specify and we include all youth regardless of talents I was concerned those who have in the past dropped may lose interest fast and not want to participate.
……How does that saying go ?
Never judge a book by it’s cover
One of the oldest in the books however sometimes I found myself and have to remind myself to not be quick to judge.
The second our teacher Audrey came out, the youth (every single one of them) were glued. and BOY, the second the clay came out and they got to make their own creations.
You could just feel the creativity flowing, and moving it was amazing.
